time to visit wagah border

I will be in amritsar for 2 days so when can i see the wagah border ceremony

You should start for Wagha by 3 pm from Amritsar. Only water bottle and camera can be taken inside the area, people allowed to seat from 4 p.m. Beware of pick pockets. You'll be back to Amritsar after watching the flag ceremony by 7 pm.

Wagha ceremony takes place according to the sunset timings. However, you can be seated from 4 p.m. Only water bottle and camera can be taken.

exact timing of the ceremony these days is around 5-5:15 pm but if your reach early your can get a better seat to view the whole ceremony
