Help the local cats please!

In Cavtat at the moment, and there isn’t a huge feral cat community at all, but if you could find it in your heart to either take a bag of cat biscuit with you, or purchase some from the local supermarket, it will help them immensely.

Many of the cats have been neutered, you can tell as they will have the very tip of an ear cut off, when neutered. Some people give them scraps from their restaurant table, and many aren’t incredibly thin, but they are all very hungry! I just have to shake my bag, and they come running! They are very appreciative, so if you are a cat lover, pop a bag in the suitcase!

11. Re: Help the local cats please!

BTW wolves are protected by law in Croatia and there are very stiff fines for shooting them.

Either way, I will keep enjoying my Peka and on the spit lamb.

For many people lamb/sheep are their livelihood and it is heartbreaking for them and financially disastrous when wolves kill, not one but many sheep/lamb.
