Cruise ship stop

We arrive next week and would love to see some of the island. Ideally a local taxi driver who could whiz us around the highlights in a few hours? Love wildlife and scenery but not much into biking or hiking. Definitely not keen on churches and museums but love local architecture and seeing different lifestyles. Happy to hire a car if that might be a good option? Any advice greatly appreciated as this will likely be our only visit to this amazing looking place. Local guides who might help please feel free to PM me.

Know I see Chiloe. You will have no problem in finding a cooperative taxi driver. The highlights of Chiloe architecture are the churches.

Just FYI we had a lovely morning in Castro. There were lots of local taxis but they weren't the most comfortable so we took a tip from our guide in Puerto Montt and got one to the market at the top of the town which was fascinating as markets are! Then just walked down to the very pretty church through the town.
