late arrival into foz de iguacu

Hi,

I'm taking the 11:18 flight from rio to the foz de iguaca

Will taxis be available at this hour, and if so is it safe?

If not safe, would it be better to pre-arrange something with the hotel?

thanks

There are always taxis when a flight is arriving. The main point is to know in advance how much will be the fare. Yçu must have Brazilian currency, reais,

Hi NYC!

We found that the Iguasu Falls region is safe, although I must say that we were always snug in our beds by 11:30 p.m. I'm sure that when flights are arriving, there's always taxis.

What would I do? Arrange the transportation with the hotel. Not only does it remove any lingering questions about gypsy cab drivers and overcharging, but there's something I like about arriving half-a-world from home and seeing somebody there holding up a card with my name on it.

Happy travels!
