Transport to and from Sarajevo

I'm planning to visit Sarajevo this summer, and I intend to take a day trip to see the nearby Olympic mountains. Are there any summer activities worth participating on Jahorina? Also, are there any bus services that run between Sarajevo and Jahorina?

All I've found so far in regard to bus from Sarajevo to Jahorina in winter is once a day leaving at 8:30.

I hope this is not the case. I would imagine there should be at least like an hourly bus.

Anybody, please?

I know there are buses to Bjelasnica and Igman, from the Federation part of Sarajevo. Buses to Jahorina would be going from the bus station in Serbian part - Istocno Sarajevo

Thank you very much for help.

You mean 7:00 and 16:30, right?

On Google Map Jahorinski Potok points to nowhere for unknown reason, but it is the same as Jahorina?

Can you also please clarify what you mean by Normal Bus Station? You mean this one? :

By "Normal" bus station I mean the one next to the railway station in Sarajevo, which existed in the period befor Bosnian war too. Jahorinski potok means in our language Jahorina stream, it's the name of a small river flowing through Pale. Maybe the bus station there was named after that.

That other information was about the seasonal bus for skiers, I have no idea if it was running this year too

Hello 424 Tarikd,

I'm pretty confused. You say above:

"Buses to Jahorina would be going from the bus station in Serbian part - Istocno Sarajevo."

and

"From a "Normal" bus station 2X a day to Jahorinski Potok."

So, please, from which bus station does it leave Sarajevo???

Hello JesperP,

You seem to be saying it leaves from Lukavica Bus Station in Istocno Sarajevo.

Thanks.
