The Bellmont or Wink?

A group of about 8 of us or so are looking to make reservations for a Saturday night dinner. Which restaurant is the better choice? Price really is no problem, as long as the experience is worthwhile. Any input or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Read the posts under "Hip Restaurants?" to get a bit more insight. I personally really like Wink as it's small with great food and outstanding service. However, the portions are small and it is expensive. I've not eaten at the Bellmont so I can't compare, but from what I've read/heard, the Bellmont is not in the same league.

Perhaps others can share their opinions on the Bellmont.

I felt like Wink was a lot more inventive and fun- especially for a group of 8. The Bellmont's food was good but not eclectic (which is something I like, though) and the atmosphere didn't vibe for my taste.

Also, if you want something really neat and I feel very Austin-y you may want to try Moonshine Grill near downtown.
