Tours from Arlington area

We will be in Arlington for the opening Cowboys game - arriving Sat. 9/18 - we toured the stadium last year and are trying to decide on what to do on Saturday. We do not rent a car and I am wondering if there are any bus type tours to any of the other attractions in the DFW area - or, any suggestions we can walk to or cab to - 6 Flags is optional - I'm not big on rides, so it would be a last choice. Thanks for any ideas

Tour buses in Arlington are typically taking people to Shrevport casinos across the state line or down to Galveston for cruises.

Next best thing, if you want to stay in town, take a taxi down to the Highlands for shopping and resturants, a comedy club, and Busters - games, bowling, etc. As the previous poster mentioned in a different thread, if you are group of women and really ambious, head over to Decorators Warehouse, which is filled with Christmas decorations. But, that is the west side of town and just one store in the area, so may not be worth the cost of a taxi, depending on your budget.

Mixed company and a fair part of the day on your hands, taxi up to the TRE train station at Centerpoint. It really is not to very far from the Arlington stadiums. Take the train over to downtown Fort Worth and make your way over to Sundance square.
