Arlington & San Antonio

working on plans for a June vacation - planning to stop in Arlington/DFW and San Antonio. So far, planning to go to Six Flags in Arlington & SA, plus Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. Have about 8-10 days total for the trip, and not sure yet how to divide it up. Thinking a tour of the new cowboys stadium might be cool, and the FW Stockyard sounds neat too. My kids are 11 and 7.

Any ideas for the best things to do in Arlington/DFW? and how long to spend here vs. in SA?

We took the Texas Stadium tour last year and found it interesting. It is not available every day, check the website and call ahead.

Ft Worth zoo is great for kids and adults.

The new Science and History museum in the Ft. Worth cultural district.

Also in Arlington, the Hihglands for shopping, eating, there's a Dave & Busters and Splitsville bowling.
