I use 'tripadvisor' in conjunction with other travel information when visiting a town for the first time. Now that we have had an unpleasant experience (most unusual for us) at a supposedly fine hotel, I looked at 'tripadvisor' and find someone else also had a very bad experience here but the posting was removed at a later date. Since the employee's name was mentioned, I am wondering if this is something that happens often at this particular hotel. It would have been useful to us if this customer's message had not been removed. Perhaps just giving the person an opportunity to re-write it would have been helpful.
