Gumbet in sept with kids

Hi we are going to Gumbet on the 11th sept with kids of varying ages. Any tips of reasonably priced places to eat and drink keeping to a budget (6 kids!!) for 2 weeks. Also places to drink in the evenings? (with and without the kids)!! We are aiming to do a few boat trips also and visit the markets. Any tips for where to eat and drink where to go and where to avoid wuld be most helpful. Many thanks......

Hiya,

Mudurnu chicken is great, has a huge menu, is all freshly cooked, and is very reasonable for price. Its a Turkish chain restaurant, and popular with Turks as well as tourists. In Gumbet, its right on Bar Street (which has a lot of shops too) just off the beach.

Having said that, most restaurants in Gumbet will do you a deal for kids meals etc - if you are a big party of holidaymakers, they will be even more keen to please you, so you go back to their restaurant and spend your money there.

I'm sure you'll find your favourites within your first couple of nights - Gumbet isn't a huge resort, and you can walk around and check out prices etc without committing yourself to buy.

Happy holidays,

Elaine
