Uber at Terminal 4

We will be arriving at Terminal 4 on Friday around 2PM - I assume Uber is the best option for us to get to Makati? How would it work - where would we need to be for pick up? I seem to recall T4 as being quite small and I'm not sure if there are any special restrictions? TIA.

Grab is promoting itself at the airport and they are just like UBER, but have airport presence. Terminal 4, easy to find them at curbside, but with GRAB and UBER download the app to contact them. GRAB may have a person there as well as they do in other paces. Terminal 4 is also easy to get a yellow taxi or a meter taxi as they drop right there. For more GRAB INFO..

I already use Uber in the States so am more familiar with it.

If metered taxis are available then perhaps we will go with those instead, although traffic conditions may be horrible at 2pm?

If there is a taxi available grab it instead as you will need to use the app to book Uber and wait for them to arrive.

T4 shouldn't have the same "taxi"issues as T3 as its a lot quieter.

I am not advocating in any way what so ever that some one uses Uber. As I understand it, profits from Uber go to Americans.

However, an arrival at Terminal 4 implies that Annie L is already in the Philippines so could obtain a Philippines UBER app right now, if her American UBER App will not work.

LO2 - I know but I have limited cash but Uber will charge to my card.

Tommo - thanks, will use the taxis.

Big Jim - not sure what your post is about. I've been using my "American" Uber app while in the Philippines. I'm sure the driver is still making what he is supposed to make.

Tommo anything I should be wary of when grabbing a taxi in T4? Is there just a regular taxi queue right outside?

Uber drivers plying the streets of Manila are all Filipinos and I know they are happy with the profit that is why many are applying to be one. Of course Uber gets a commission for using their app.
