Money exchange

Where should I change my money? When I arrive in Philippines or here? Is the rate better here or in Manila?

In Manila...avoid airports though. I would exchange just a small amount in the airport enough for me to be able to get around the commercial areas where exhange rates are better.

If you are staying in Makati. there is a Sanry,s exchange, in Avenue mall on makati avenue, or a Czarinas in greenbelt 5. BDO rates at the airport are not too bad, if you need money on arrival

avoid airport except for transit money to your hotel. There are many money exchangers everywhere and the difference is not worth taking a taxi to find a better rate unless you will cash big money amounts. Check more than one place near your hotel and please do not use non licensed exchangers.
