Arriving and departing Manila

Hey,

As I am a person who like to be in control can anyone please step me through the airport process landing and leaving?

Arriving at 6am from Australia we would like to know what we will be up for. We are Aussie so will we have any visa's or arrival fee / tax? Will Taxi's be available?

We have 3 nights 4 days. Staying at The Residences, Greenbelt, Makati.

We like markets, people watching, shopping (cheap / fakes). As an example we usually go to Bali and stay in Kuta. Any tips muchly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Try Greenhills Market which is an indoor air conditioned market where you can get designer copies.

Other markets are:

Since you have 4 days, are you willing to take a day trip to the province?

You can choose to go to Tagaytay or Pagsanjan Falls or even both within a day if you are able to make it.

Hire a private car+driver for efficiency and convenience since you do not have the luxury of time.

Thank you for your assistance!

Will consider a trip to the province but it may cut into shopping time too much.

Hoping that shopping here isn't like Kuala Lumpur where nothing would fit me and I would not consider myself big by western standards. ;-)

Don't forget that when departing Philippines, you have to pay the departure tax in cash at an airport booth just before immigration: Philippine Pesos or US Dollars only.

Yes, just like in Bali there is a departure tax (terminal fee). You have to pay Php550 per passenger.

If nothing would fit you, there are shops in malls that caters specifically to plus sizes and I am very certain you will find your size there.
