Passport No. when Booking AirAsia

Hi to all.

I am trying to book Airasia. It is asking for Passport number but my 3 companion still dont have their passport. Is it ok if i leave it blank? WIll we have any problem during check in?

why dont you try to put their ID number.... bcoz all these while, i just put my id instead of my passport number becoz ppl normally dont remember their passport number (since it keeps changing every 5 years) btw, im a malaysian, maybe it's different.. im not sure whether it is applicable for others too...

You have to put in your valid passport number. Same thing happened to a friend of mine who wasnt able to get a promo fare since she has to input her passport number.

Similarly, another friend of mine also failed to get a ticket from Tiger Airlines. Her passport is expiring in 6 months, and booking dint push through as it recognized that the passport is expiring and wont be permitted at the time of travel.
