Going to the Phillipines for the first time in January, via Bangkok, Singapore. What is the best airline to get from Manila to Bangkok? After beginning the vacation in Bangkok, we are flying Jetstar from Bangkok-Singapore-Manila but Jetstar doesnt go back to Bangkok from Manila. It looks like Cebu Pacific has a flight but it is late at night and arrives past midnight in Bangkok. Any other options?

Hi. Cebu Pacific is the only direct budget flight (Manila based) to Bangkok that arrives at ghastly hours (aside form PAL,THAI,etc).

You want to try Clark (2 hour budget hub from Manila) based budgeties-Tiger Airways (Singapore) or Air Asia (Main hub: Kuala Lumpur) who fly to Bangkok from their respective hubs. They dont have any direct flight from Manila since theyre budget.

A more confusing option is flying from Clark to Macau (Tiger Airways) then Macau to Bangkok. (Air Asia-Thailand)

try their respective websites.

PAL has flights withbetter schedules and more convenient local in Manila. If you book online, it may get you a decent price, but not like Tiger/AirAsia or Cebu Pacific. Just remember, if you book PAL online, show up early as you still must go to their office at the terminal and wait, wait, wait...and present your credit card in person to get your booking.

Thai Air is really pricey.
