Airport lounge at KL airport

We will be spending 6 hours in transit at KL airport in December, from 3 to 9 in the morning during flights between Sydney and Hanoi. We are a family of 5 and I'm wondering if it's worth buying access to the premium lounge? It will cost us around $325 for a 3 hour pass. I don't think we'll be hungry, just tired. Is there anywhere else in the airport to rest and/or eat during the early morning?

There is a transit hotel at KLIA2.

Sama-Sama. 6 hour use of room at approx. $US55 per room. You will need 2 rooms, possibly adjoining or maybe 1 adult plus child/ children in each room if that's not available.

Can be booked thru Agoda.

Much cheaper than the lounge and you get a bed and shower.

You will have less than the six hours if you take into account check=in minimums for your ongoing flight, so be sure to set alarms :)

Happy travels.

In KLIA2 there is a cheaper capsule hotel - Capsule by Container Hotel - it is the first ever in Malaysia and suitable for transit travelers.

i agree with the farmwood, don't waste your money on such expensive access for only 3 hours.

else, at KLIA1 you have some areas in the long corridor where there are large seats or longue sort of chairs (if not all taken) where you can rest for free as they are for the passengers. this is the worst case scenario.

you can always have a drink somewhere, there are now many coffees with long banquet where your kids can also rest a bit while you are drinking.

it is a very modern airport.
