2 hours transit time for different Airline.

Hi, I'm Malaysia.

Im travelling to Delhi, India this June.

Im planning to use AirAsia. Unfortunately, there's no direct flight.

1535(KUL) - 1700(CCU).

I will be reaching Kolkata at 5pm.

Then, there's 2 hours transit time for me.

Im using another airline(IndiGo)

07:00 PM Kolkata - 09:05 PM Delhi

Do you guys think i have enough time to do my transit in this 2 hours?

I have 1 hand carry luggage and 1 check in luggage.

I doubt you have enough time.

You have 2 hours, 120 mins.

Check in Delhi flight closes 45 mins prior to departure. That leaves you with 75 mins.

After a plane lands, it needs to taxi to the gate, deplane, and luggage claim. In Malaysia low cost terminal, that will take on average 30-40mins. Taking worse case of 40mins you have 35 mins to make your way to the check-in/bag drop counter, queue and bag drop.

That leaves you zero time for flight delays (which happens rather frequently).

If you miss your Delhi flight, you will miss your Air Asia flight.

Your tickets will be burnt and you will have to buy new tickets at the prevailing market rates.

Hi maic,

Yeap. I afraid everything screw up just because of a delayed flight.

To be safe, i paid a little bit more and get a direct flight using Malaysia Airline.

Thanks for your effort ;)
