I have a 4.5 hour transit at KL from 7:35pm on a Wednesday evening. Other than sit and play on my phone whilst hogging a charging point what else can I do?
Eat? Drink? Shop?
If in day time, you can take the ERL express from airport and head to down town, KL Sentral. Is just 30 minute ride. At KL Sentral, a few minutes walk, you can walk around Brickfield, knownn as Little India. Try the food and visit some temples there. Then return to airport. Do time your return, coz the ERL trains depart every 20 or 30 mins depending on peak/non peak time. At KL Sentral, you can also take MRT and visit a few local tourist spots nearby with just a few minutes ride away
Not a great deal of time to do a lot. Do as PSS has suggested or head over to Mitsui Factory Outlet , on the courtesy bus.
I also recommend eating, drinking or shopping. Not sure which terminal you will be at but the airports are nice and have a lot of choice for eating.
A Venti and a book at Starbucks will kill that in no time.
Is your next flight domestic or international? Either way, i think you would be crazy to even consider going into the city as previous poster has suggested. just chill out and check out some of the shops at klia.
I'm flying AirAsia international. Yes, maybe it's not enough time for a city trip. Outlet shopping sounds good and of course a good meal. Any suggestions for the latter?
There is a free shuttle to the nearby Mitsu outlet as suggested above. But really, the time will fly and you can fill in with shopping and browsing just in the terminal.
Is Mitsui worth a visit; are the choices and prices good?
