DVD shops

There is a definite lack of DVD shops in this city, isn't there? Or am I missing them all ....?

I've been able to find 1 bookoff, near Higashiyama sanjo

I couldn't find Kinokuniya in Zest subway mall, nor bookoff in Kyoto Station ....

what would be my best bet to find a decent collection of DVD's ....?

I'm trying to find the TV series 'pleiades' for one

Baked Yatsuhashi cinammon cracker: http://www.otabe.co.jp/item/yatsu.html

"Raw" Nama Yatsuhashi (with sweet red bean paste): http://www.otabe.co.jp/item/otabe.html

Yatsuhashi is Kyoto's old local sweet (established around early 17th century) that is probably No.1 souvenir bought from Kyoto.

That's why all the food snobs throughout Japan are utterly contemptuous of the so-called "traditional" delicacies of Kyoto, treasured by poverty-stricken court nobility and priests for centuries (although many snobs pretend to love/respect them). And, the traditional 干物 (dried fish). They might be slightly better than Nara's deer sembei. Just slightly.
