Hotel in Kyoto in November

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Kyoto for early November. We stayed at the Rihga Royal before and enjoyed it...but alas, it appears to be booked out at this time. Something similar would be good....any suggestions?

Sincerely

Bil

Try this website ( http://travel.rakuten.co.jp/en/ ), which is one of the biggest Japanese travel agencies. It's very reliable and a lot of TA members have used it. The website probably does not contain the most info and a lot of photos about each hotel (you'll need to use TA or other websites to do research), but you can check availability of the largest number of hotels in Japan. It still shows 10+ hotels with rooms available on Nov 1-4.

November is the peak season in Kyoto. Hotels are often booked six months in advance. I made some inquiries back in May/June about vacanies in November and many top ryokans/hotels were already booked solid!!!!! Good luck and book soon.

We stayed at the Aranvert hotel & would definitely stay there again. The rooms were a good size & there's a public bath on the roof & it does have rooms available for the 3rd of November.

We recently stayed at the hotel okura. This was an amazing hotel and I though a good location. I have just put a view and some photos up.
