We went by overnight sleeper bus. Good if you want to save travel time and accommodation cost, but cons are that the bus ride was extremely "cigarettey" and it was basically a public bus for all and sundry to transport all their goods and luggage.

Oh dear, I don't really remember how long the bus ride was. Perhaps something between 8 to 10 hours.

Hi

Strongly recommended to take day bus only.

DO not take the sleeper bus until security measure had beenr resolved.

There were many cases of reported pick pocket inside the bus while passengers were soundly asleep, losin money and passport.

This is how it work>>the pickpocket will board as a passenger, while those heavy sleeper(especially tourist) were targeted, losing valuable passport and money.

The pick pocket will then alighted mid-way .

The bus driver dare not reported to the authority fearing revenge by the pick pocket.

All tourist had been warned here!!!!

Travel at own risk.

Cheers

Yes on Sleeper buses or any bus keep things like lap tops and bags firmly with you. Do not even put them on the ground next to you.

If luggage is going in the luggage carrier area under the bus do not put anything valuable in your bag even if it is locked.

If you notice on buses you will see Chinese ladies keeping their handbag firmly clutched in front of them;)

No chance of me really falling THAT sound asleep on the sleeper bus. Endless cigarette smoke and the bus kept stopping every few mins or so it seemed.
