Vladivostok traffic

Dear all,

I am planning to visit Vladivostok and it is my first time. But I do not find much metro there and it affects my choice of hotels and my planning. Actually do I need to know all bus traffic there?

Is there any information for me to investigate??

We don't have any metro and public transportation is a bit tricky as anywhere in Russia. besides big citys But Vladivostok is not that big and pretty much all main sights can be reached in walkable distance but if you want to g to Lighthouse or Russkiy island then for sure you will need to take a bus

Hi, Thanks for your help.

I live in Hong Kong and is Vladivostok smaller than Hong Kong?

As In Hong Kong, I also need to take bus as I cannot walk all over Hong Kong.

Hello! In fact, there is no single directory where all the bus routes of Vladivostok! If you do not stay in Vladivostok for a long time, it's easier to book an excursion, since taxi drivers and public transport drivers do not speak English. In Vladivostok, most hotels and mini-hotels are located in the historic center of the city, this simplifies a lot!

Yeah sure Hong Kong is much more bigger then Vladivostok for sure I think if you come just for short period of time its easier just ask at receptionist how to get any place you need and for sure she will explain or as in comment above you can hire local guide to save your time, nervs and budget because I more often hear that prices for locals and foreigner are different

Doesn't mean that foreigners get charged a lot more, though? I, for one, can walk for an hour to get to a particular place. However, go much beyond that in walking seems a bit ridiculous.
