Varvari restaurant. And may 9 holiday"

Three questions....

1. Does anyone have an idea of the price of lunch or dinner at varvari restaurant. I can't open their website, no mention on their face book page and the phone isn't answered? I would like to make reservations but can't figure out the price or how?

2. Is may 8 and 9 a really big holiday that could cause me problems getting reservations places or even getting around Moscow? Will stores be closed?

3. Any recommendations on where to buy chaika watches?

Much much thanks..... For any response

1. www.anatolykomm.ru/index2.php…

2. Some will but it's not so big issue as in Europe, most tourist attractions and shops will be open. No problems to get around exclude some closure on the way of military parade way.

3. Which Chaika? Uglich factory one or new gold and platinum?

Thanks for the help on varvari. And your insight on the holiday events.

About the chaika watch. I Think those made at the uglich factory or gold/platinum plated. I am buying as gifts for my husband, brother and son. And maybe for me. The one style I liked is the "stadium" design but I think that is older. I would like to find one. I have read on the Internet that there are many fakes being sold. I want to buy from someplace with a good reputation and who can provide certificate. Do you have any more advice?

A nice place to buy Russian watches - on Arbat street there is a specialty store, near Starbucks, Arbatskaya side (There is another Starbucks close to Smolenskaya side). Usually this shop heavy advertised. They usually have full range of wawtches. Enjoy!

I made fast search in internet, but for Uglich factory I can't find any shop which sell them directly. Of course there is a lot of internet-shops like allwatch.ru etc who sell anything from real and fake Vacheron to cheap Q&Q who claim that they also sell russian watches. But I think that there is no more new Chaika watches: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fru.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F%25D7%25E0%25E9%25EA%25E0_(%25F7%25E0%25F1%25EE%25E2%25EE%25E9_%25E7%25E0%25E2%25EE%25E4)

You can still try Izmailovo market where it is possible to find old one.

For real gold one there is shop/factory right across my house: http://www.anlina.com/collections.html
