Anyone going to Suasi Island in June?

We have booked the Suasi Island excursion from Puno with All Ways Travel for June 28. The company charges you $70 per person for the boat trip to the island, with a minimum of 5 passengers. If you don't have 5 passengers, you still pay the passage for 5. If any of you are planning this trip, would you consider going June 28? Just trying to save a little money. There are two of us. Thanks. The web address for All Ways is www.titicacaperu.com if you want to read about the excursion. You can read a review of the hotel on Suasi on Trip Advisor. It's the Casa Andina Private Collection Suasi.

Hi - how did you like the trip and stay on Suasi Island? I am thinking of doing the same trip. Do you recommend it?

Thanks!

Suasi Island is fantastic. We were there last June. By day, you feel as if you're on a Greek island, with flowers in abundance and lunch served on a shady patio with views of the lake. At night the temperature drops to well below freezing. The hotel staff get a nice fire going in the wood stove in your room and you'll be cozy all night. Meals are superb in the attractive dining room. The staff will take you on guided walks, kayak trips around the island, star gazing by telescope at night. It's wonderful!
