Any thoughts on these Panama City hotels...

Sheraton Four Points?

Riande Continental?

Are they nice? In a good location? Clean? Safe? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

Both are very well located, in the financial district with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The Sheraton as far as I know is clean, it has a pool, I just don't know why I don't hear about people staying there. The Riande Continental is a lot older, still very well located, busier, with a casino and a pool. Rooms will likely be better at the Sheraton.

Sheraton Four Points - is in a very central location and is an okay hotel, nothing special.

Riande Continental - has had a recent face lift for many of their rooms and it is in central location on Via España but in my mind it's not worth the rates they are currently charging.

Both are clean and safe and decent hotels but I think there are better hotels for better value.

I recently stayed at the Riande Continental. I got trapped in the stairwell because the doors lock behind you definite safety hazard. Other than that most of the staff was helpful and the rooms were clean and a decent size.
