Headed to Boquete with 2 kids ages 8 and 11. Where to stay?

Looking for a place to stay in Boquete with 2 kids ages 8 and 11. Where would be the best place to stay for everyone?

We love Boquete Garden Inn - there is a reason it is the #1 bed and breakfast type place on Tripadvisor in Boquete:

It is very clean, and the little casitas are very private. Good breakfast and lots of birds around the setting. Very nice there. Let us know what you decide !

What would be your next suggestion? Not enough room.

The El Fresal apartment, operated by Panamonte Inn & Spa. It's across the street from the Inn; older furnishings and a bit funky. It's well located in the town of Boquete.

Or, Finca Lerida Old House, outside of town, lovely views.

What activities do you have in mind?

Isla Verde – Located right in the village of Boquete with a beautiful river running through the large property. The rooms are very nice – not 5 star, but the place is a great value – and the breakfasts are excellent. The pictures on their website are from a few years ago & the property is much more lush than pictured. I have stayed there a number of times & have always been very pleased with their European hospitality.

If you are renting a car there are a lot of places to stay. Cabanas Sabrin, just out of town; they have 3 bedroom suites for $99 a night. Beautiful location with views. Valle del Rio Boquete has suites; walking distance to town, new, on the river. More like a hotel than the Cabanas Sabrin.

We loved the Tinamou cottages. We were there on our own (no kids), so we had rented the small cottage, but there was a family in one of the 2 larger cottages. You do need a vehicle there (preferably 4 wheel), but it's wonderful.

Highly recommend Villa Marita. We loved it with our daughter and our Panamanian friends stay there every chance they get. Don't know why it's listed under "specialty lodging" since it is a B&B. Villa Marita has a lovely two bedroom cabin complete with kitchen.

My review is listed somewhere there.

Boquete Garden Inn don't accept kids and Isla Verde sometimes does but as their website says you first have to ask.

The Oasis, Boquete Paradise or Valle Escondido are also a good options in Boquete for families with kids.
