easiest beach from Boquete?

We're staying in Boquete for our honeymoon over Christmas and want to then stay on the beach somewhere for the nights of the 26th and 27th of December - flying out of Panama City at 4pm on the 28th. Any suggestions that are an hour or so from Boquete? It's our honeymoon, so we're willing to pay a bit more for some privacy and comfort.

We wanted to go to Cala Mia on the Pacific side, but it's three hours of travel one way- too much travel for only a quick 2-night stay. Any ideas?

Thanks all!

The only other beach resort that's nice and a bit nearer is Las Olas - it's just outside David so about an hour and a half from Boquete.

Cala Mia's not that far really - they can pick you up in David and it's about a 45 minute boat ride along the coast - it's a wonderful spot for a honeymoon.

One of my companies helps both resorts with their marketing so I know them both very well.

Either way you need to book now for them as they will be sold out soon for those nights, if not already.

Cheers,

Andrew
