Has anyone taken the flight over skeleton coast and swakopmund? Is it worth the money?

5, 2 plus 2 and the co-pilot seat. The rear seats have the best view but you are assigned the seats based on your size. They need to balance the airplane.

The planes they use are normally the Cessna 210 which seats 5 passengers. Yes, it can be cramped if it is full but what an experience! Make sure you book the flight that goes south and includes Sossusvlei.

If you want to do this specifically for photography then you need to book a private flight so that you have the aircraft for yourself. Some companies will even take the door off for you to get good shots. If you go with others, you must just be prepared to be a bit "squashed".

But I do recommend this excursion as it is amazing to see the coast and Sossusvlei from the sky. A completely different perspective than when you are at ground level.
