Moto Gp 2013

HI all, our first time to sepang this year for the moto gp and saw some posts from last years so does anyone have any top tips for the commute from KL as we are staying at traders hotel and are looking to get train to klia then shuttle to circuit unless bus from KL is not too long a ride! Have tickets for main grandstand(k1) any tips appreciated.

thanks for that will look into that option. did you book taxi through hotel or just off taxi rank? can you remember rough idea of cost so we know what sort of price we should be paying. will be going to the circuit on the sat and sun, cheers.

We booked a Taxi through Traders to go to the F1 Grand Prix in March

It was MR400 for a return trip, we were advised that we should book the cab for the return as it was difficult to get a taxi at the circuit.

This was not the case, across the road from the bus terminal (you have to get on a bus to actually get to the circuit, your taxi driver drops you off there) there is a service station and there are an abundance of cabs - at a fraction of the cost, which you can just hop in.

Or you could book through Traders or any other taxi for a return trip, you then have to find your taxi when you return - that is an adventure in itself :):)

Happy Planning

We just got one on streets but same guy each time also found someone else who was going so we met up an shared each time think it worked about £8.00 but really worth getting cab rather than bus or train take you right into circuit go early on practice day not many race goers there you can meet all the riders as I said have fun say hi to Rossi for me lol

You can also try booking a taxi through Sunlight Taxi Services. They're a Malaysian Taxi Company with a fleet of 3000 cabs. You can book online or via sms once you're in Malaysia. Haven't tried them but planning to do so since their rates are much cheaper than taxis booked by hotels.

So you will have an idea of fare costs, here's a link to taxi fares based on coupon taxi rates:

And the link to Sunlight Taxi Co.:
