Hi Ger,

There are some shops in Segama, behind Le Meridien but i have not taken my breakfast there, so could not recommend.

If you do not mind walking bit further, Gaya St have many good local restaurants which cost about RM6-8 per plate of noodles.

If MacDonalds is fine for you, there is a MacDonalds at Api Api Center, from Le Meridien entrance, turn right and walk straight, passing Warisan Sqr, then you will see MacDonalds at Api Api Center.

Regardless of where....if you can find a "Banjo" spicy eggroll (cooked dish with spices and wrapped like a tortilla or bread roll) try it.....excellent brekky and have teh tarek ( but get extra hot water and glasses to dilute if you dont like SWEET tea). Loved East Malaysia.

you can eat at Seng Hing Coffee shop located at Sinsuran plaza,(just behind Le Meridien). They serve good Tuaran Mee and Tom Yam Meehoon. You can refer to the post here sabaheats.com/4-places-good-tasting-tom-yam-…
