Borneo Eco Tours

Has anyone travelled with Borneo Eco Tours in the last year? My parents would like to travel to Borneo and go on an arranged tour, and the website for the company looked good. They are in their 60's so are not looking for a strenuous holiday. Any other tour company recommendations would also be welcome.

Borneo Eco Tours should be fine - they've been around for ages, you can also consult SabahTourism.com for leads on other organised tours that your parents might enjoy.

just returned from our second visit in two years to Sabah. This time took our children (10 and 13) and my parents (both in late 70s though active) and used borneo Eco tours. No complaints. All went very smoothly, guides all good and very adaptable to our family mix, good safety (they insisted on life jackets being worn and not used as seat cushions, drivers drove sensibly), and no hidden extras

We used Borneo Eco Tours for our stay in Sabah in April this year. They met us as Sandakan Airport and arranged everything for us - we went to Sepilok, Kinabatang River, Danum Valley and Lankayan Island and had a wonderful time. We delt with Malvin via email who was really helpful at suggesting itineraries and quick at replying - they also turned out to be one of the cheapest. I would have no hesitation in using them again...

We booked with them a week long trip to Sabah (Danum, Sukau, Sepilok and Kota Kinabalu).

The reservation service over the email was outstanding We had never gone to Borneo so we wrote about 1000 emails back and forth to fix details. Fiona, the person that attended our reservation was absolutely fantastic! She was ready to answer all the time and in the kindest way, giving us advice on all sorts of things and tailor making the trip just for us.

The trip itself was perfectly organized never a delay or a problem, with professional and kind staff all the time. We were on our honeymoon and they arranged all sorts of treats and little presents for us in all of the places where we lodged. Highly recommended to anyone travelling to beautiful Borneo!
