Singapore - Kuala Lumpur Bus/transit

I will be arriving around 1am at Changi Airport, and planning to catching one of the buses to Kuala Lumpur. I will be spending a few hours at the airport before I leave the airport around 6am.

I would like to know

1. how far is the bus pick up from Changi Airport? I assumed there are many locations, and how much does the cab/bus cost?

2. I have concern about my luggages. Since there will be a lot of passengers on the bus, Will the luggages be TAG? I am just afraid that someone might took my luggage accidentally/ intentionally.

3. Does the bus go directly to K.L from Singapore or there will be stops in between?

Same answer as follow:

Try these:

1) Konsortium --- Red colour coach with 24seats if not mistaken. http://www.konsortium.com.sg/

2) If you are from Singapore, can try this http://www.fivestarsonline.com/

3) http://www.plusliner.com/ : I heard that NICE 2 is very good one.

4) www.nadi.com.my/transportation_home.asp

5) Grassland Express

These coaches are from Singapore then to KL and take some customer at Larkin station if not mistaken. Just for sharing information kindly check and compare yourself.

Another one to consider. Transtar has 3 types of classes, based on the available facilities onboard. (First class, Premium and VIP/SuperCoach).

- First and Premium coaches pick up at Golden Mile.

- VIP/SuperCoach will pick up at Lavender MRT area.

The luggage is not tagged by the coach company.

The practice is to segregate valuables and keep in a small baggage which you can keep next to you/store under your seat. Tag and lock all yr bags.

As for the other luggages, store in the luggage compartment.

When the coach arrived at KL bus terminal, quickly get down so that you can retrieve yr bag ASAP, so that no one can take it accidently.

If 2 bags, I use a colored string/ribbon to connect & tie them at the handles, so that they cannot be mistaken by another traveller.

Pls take note that there is a luggage limitation for Transtar. Per their website: 1 bag (10kg) per pax for all coaches, but double allowance for the First Class coaches. Pls confirm with them.

You can get a reference on the taxi price from this link.

Transtar fr golden mile, and Aeroline from harbourfront are recommended.

Both goes direct fr singapore to KL with just a 10 min toilet break. Total journey time is abt 4 hr 30 min to 5hrs. Food and drinks are served on board.

Aeroline is more convenient as it stops at corus hotel in KL, with is just 5 min walk fr KLCC.

Transtar stops at pasar rakyat bus terminal, where there're more taxi touts.
