Kenya, Sambuku and El Molo Tribe

I'm thinking about going along with a guided group in 4x4 to the El Molo tribe (most southern point of the Turkana lake) and afterwards to the Samburu region, starting from Nairobi, passing Mount Kenya. Is this a 'safe' area to travel through at the moment , all circumstances considered ?

There are a number overland trips to the Turkana area, so apparently it's safe. You might want to post a question re 'overland safari to Lake Turkana... how was it, any info I should know beforehand.?'

As to the Ol Molo tribe, know there are probably only about 100 people left of this group who are slowly being incorporated into other tribes, so if you can get to meet up with them and other tribes in/around the area should be special. For certain it won't be 'touristic.'
