hotel kawaroku

I am thinking of reserving a room here, preferably Japanese style for 2 adults. Is it as good as it sounds and only 5700en? is it easy to get to from JR Station? Any advice?...also considering Okura Hotel.

According to the Japanese website, a Japanese style room at the Kawaroku Hotel is 45 sqm, a very good size, and the rate is 5,700 yen/person/night.

A twin room at the Okura Hotel is only 15.8 sqm, a very tiny room. I don't know how they fit two beds in the room?? Although the rate is cheaper here at 8,500 yen for two, I think you'll be uncomfortable staying in such a tiny room.

Looks like both hotels are located close to each other, a short cab ride or a 12-15minute walk from JR Takamatsu station.

Thank you for your help; can you answer one more question? is there a Western bathroom in the Japanese style room?

Yes, their toilets are all Western style, actually they are washlets.

A washlet has a heated seat and a device that washes and sometimes even dry you :)
