Itinerary question

Hi all Tokyo experts,

I have spent quite sometime on the 5 days Tokyo itinerary, and thought to share with you to see if it makes sense and if I have hit most of the spots in Tokyo. I will be staying in Yotsuya (East of Shinjuku) and thought will start my 2nd day in Shinjuku, but find out some attractions are better to go at night, so I changed plans to go back at night and now my day 2 looked unorganized. Also I want to see Sumo in Ryogoku, but found out that they have a tournament elsewhere so the sumo probably will not be in town. Does anyone know if it still worth to go for a visit?

Day 1 (11/21 Thur)

Arrive Narita airport at 3:40pm. Plan to get N'ex and Suica pass.

Day 2 (11/22 Fri)

Shinjuku: Shinjuku-gyoen, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices observation deck.

Shibuya: Shibuya Crossing

Ghibli Museum?

Roponggi

At night, back to Shinjuku: Kabukicho, Hanazono-Jinja, Golden Gai, Shomben Yokocho

Day 3 (11/23 Sat)

Ueno: Ueno Park, Kiyomizu Kannon-do Temple, Tokyo National Museum, Tashogu Shrine, Ameya Yokocho

Asakusa: Take pictures of Sky tree, Sensoji Temple, Kappabashi-Dougugai Dori

Day 4 (11/24 Sun)

Harajuku: Meiji Jingu Shrine, Jingu-Bashi, Takeshita Dori, Omotesando Dori

Day 5 (11/25 Mon)

Tsukiji Central fish market

Hama Rikyu Garden (浜離宮)

Ginza

Higashi-Gyoen (Imperial Palace East Garden)

Thank you in advance for your input!

Ryogoku is in the old downtown area of Tokyo. It's home to the Edo Tokyo Museum where you can learn about Tokyo's history. And you can try chanko-nabe, Sumo wrestler's hot pot at one fo the restaurants in Ryogoku http://visit-sumida.jp/tabid/129/Default.aspx

You could go to Shibuya crossing on Day 4 as you will be in the area.

If you go to Ghibli Museum take the Chuo line train from Shinjuku out to Mitaka or you can get off at Kitchijoji & walk through the park. The museum is in the park, afterwards you could explore the park & Kitchijoji & then return to Shinjuku. I think it's way better than going to Roppongi.

I agree with Elly M. You can do Shibuya on day 4. You only need half a day for Harajuku and Omotesando. From Omotesando/ Harajuku you can walk to Shibuya.

Thank you Elly and hotspot!!

Do you think I will have time to squeeze in Ryogoku on Day 3? I saw the Kokugikan Sumo Stadium museum with free admission. Also, will I be able to see Sky Tree from Sensoji Temple?

If I go to Ghibli Museum from Shinjuku, how long should I allow myself to travel if I am exiting from Mitaka Station?

If I am leaving from Ueon to Tsukiji Central fish market, is there any public transportation that will get me there on time for the morning tour? If the only way is to take a taxi, should I call in advance?

My brain is all fried from looking at the metro map and JR map!!! -_-'
