Disneyland

Hi, just wondering when the least busy time of the year to go to disney would be. We can deal with any weather so not worried about that but we are not to great with queues. We love disney and know that it generally does include a lot of it but if we can try and go when it will be least busy it would be great. Also how long will the queues be around this time approximately?

Thanks

Here is a link to estimated crowd levels and wait times for selected rides. http://tdrnavi.jp/forecast/disneyland?lang=en

The calendar extends to March 2014 but is updated monthly. Looks like January, February and early March should be good. Queue times will vary from 20 minutes on the least busy day to 110 minutes on a very busy day for Honey Hunt (as an example) so yes, picking a less busy day will save you a lot of time standing in line.

To me, it seem everyday is crowded at disney. Just be prepare to queue at least 20mins to 160mins for rides or showtime.

At least better to get the fast pass for popluar rides

With fastpass, you get a pass that allows you to skip the stand-by line for specific rides at a specific time. No, you do not pay extra for it. This is the process--

You put your ticket into the fastpass machine and it gives you a "pass" for a later time that allows you to skip the regular line-up. That way, you can go ride other rides, eat or shop and then return to the ride at a later time (specified on the fastpass) and avoid waiting.

A few notes:

Not all rides have fastpasses, see this link for the rides that have fastpasses. tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/en/tds/atrc/fastpass/

You can technically only have one fastpass at a time (although there are ways around this)

You can usually use your fastpass after the time indicated on the pass. For example, if your fastpass indicates you can ride between 1:00 and 2:00, you can use it after 2 but some cast members (CMs) frown on this. They may tell you this isn't allowed but will let it go.

Fastpasses can run out for popular rides so it's not guaranteed that you can get a fastpass. If there is a ride you want to use a fastpass for, get it early.

Hey cherry :) you planning a trip to tokyo disney too :)

I will def make the most of fast passes though we are thinking March/April time so hopefully it wont be too busy and weather will be nice with not too much rain.
