Re Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba

I saw the photo of the Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba, and thinking of going to have a look at that beautiful bridge. Any ideas where is the nearest metro stop where i can have a look and take picture of that beautiful Bridge. Is there a park where i can walk and take picture and is that a tourist attraction there. I will start from Shinjuku station.

Thanks

David.

You can look up train schedules at either one of these sites.

The closest station is Daiba station on the Yurikamome. The easiest way to get there is to take the Yamanote Line from Shinjuku to Shinbashi, transfer to the Yurikamome Line.

Just to let you know, the Rainbow Bridge is usually white. They will light it up in rainbow colors from December until Jan. 6. There might be other seasonal events, ie pink in October for Breast Cancer.

Daiba station is here:

https://maps.google.com/maps…

the island of Odaiba (which the Yurikamome circles through) is a man-made island which was turned into a large shopping and entertainment district in the 90s.

depending on your tastes, definitely plenty to keep your interest here. myself, I'm looking at two days for my first visit in April.

Daiba is a station on the Yurikamome line. It's on Google maps link that bradk09 posted.

Odaiba is located near / at Aqua City.

Here's the Yurikamome site.

Daiba is the second stop after you cross the bridge.

If you want to take a really cool photo, walk along the deck of Aqua City and find a set of stairs going UP. Day is just as nice as night (depending on the weather, of course.)

One or two minutes. It's, literally, right there. Just follow the crowd. Aqua City is a big shopping mall.
