Last night hotel recommendation

Hi all

I'm looking for recommendations for the last night of our honeymoon in end Feb, and I've seen lots of past recommendations for Cerulean Towers. However the reviews of late have not exactly been stellar.

We will spend a few days in Tokyo (Shibuya area) followed by 2 nights in Takayama and a final night in Tokyo before heading back. My strong preference would be a hotel near to the JR station where I can catch the NE'X to Narita without having to walk and drag our suitcases long distances and a station where there is a direct NE'X to the airport without having to change trains. WOuld appreciate some recommendations, thank you!

How about the Lost in Translation Hotel in Shinjuku? There is NEX leaving from the Shinjuku station.

Ah, I forgot to mention, preferably someplace with free wifi / internet? :)

There's free wifi at the Century Southern Tower in Shinjuku. It's only a short walk (2-3 minutes) to Shinjuku station, which is a N'Ex stop. We've stayed there twice - it's very nice.

Though it's a very nice hotel, the Park Hyatt is far from Shinjuku Station.

The Century Southern Tower is not a luxury hotel but still nice and it's very close to the NEX platform.

CST would be the place to be if location matters. It is definitely much more convenient than any hotels out at the west side. Keio Plaza would be the second choice.

CST is undergoing renovations so there might be some noise from 9 to 5 though.

CST looks like a great choice, thanks.. however, I can't seem to book for only one night -is there a 2 night minimum stay requirement?

I just made a dummy booking and I was able to book one night at the end of February. You're not trying to book on February 29th, are you? :-)

Hmm thats weird

I've tried a few times already, check in 28 Feb, check out 1 Mar

Everytime I click Book, it defaults to 2 nights. When I select 1 night from the pull down menu, it tells me minimum 2 nights stay ??

I tried a dummy booking through the hotel website and through Japanican - both were okay for 1 night on February 28. On the hotel website there are some offers that require a minimum stay, but the general "best rate" works fine.
