Chidorigafuchi park boat rental

I'll be attending a concert in late April at Nippon Budokan, Seems like the perfect opportunity to do a boat ride a few hours beforehand at Chidorigafuchi for beautiful cherry blossoms. can I do a boat rental as a solo? and the article I read said lines can be hours long wait for a boat in season, is this accurate?

Of course, you can rent a boat solo!

Lines are long only when cherry blossoms are in peak, so in late April, there won't be any lines. In late April, it's open from 11am to 5pm and costs 500yen/30 minutes or 1,000yen/60 minutes:

I'm a bit skeptical whether you'd really like to line up for long hours. I think it would better to do an excursion out of Tokyo to somewhere relaxing an quiet for a long stroll or perhaps a boat without long hours of queues. Tokyo is a large city, and in recent years, there is a alarmingly large number of tourists who'd head into Tokyo for cherry blossom.

This is not really meant to discourage you, but perhaps you might go early in the morning (it opens at 09:30 so perhaps around 08:00?) or consider another idea for the boat.

The op is coming in LATE April after the cherry blossom season. Therefore, there won't be any queue at Chidorigafuchi Boat. It's open at 11am not 8am in late April. See the link in #1.

Shibuyakko is right. Cherry Blossom is definitely gone in Chidorigafuchi in late April. See these.

You should go north to Took Region, such as Kakunodate, Hirosaki, etc., to see Cherry Blossom in late April.

Once reaching full bloom, they last only one week :-( That's one of the reasons they are so precious.
