Hotel transfer from Aqaba airport

Hi, can anyone recommend a reliable taxi company to arrange a transfer from Aqaba airport to the hotel in Aqaba (maybe we'll be staying in South beach but not yet sure) for our family? Also, would be great if you could tell us what an approximate cost of a trip could be.

We'd prefer to prebook a transfer service and avoid having to get one direct from the airport.

thanks in advance!

You would probably do best to arrange with your hotel to send a taxi to collect you. There is no obvious reason not to take a taxi from the airport, this would be the easiest and most efficient way.

Hi,

You can just take a taxi that is waiting outside the airport. In Aqaba there are no "hyenas" like in big city airports.

A ride to the downtown should be around 7 JD, to South Beach around 15 JD.

If you prefer a pre-arranged transfer, you will have to send your passport details to the company beforehand because they have to write them into the manifest.that the driver must show up to the airport security guards.

http://www.jordanrentalcar.com/ has a transfer service, contact them for a price offer by email.

thank you both for the advice, I feel more comfortable now with the option of taking a taxi right from the airport. How about a journey back? from the hotel to the airport?
