From my experience in Africa.. buses might seems brand new from the out side but they are in fact horrible.. no leg space etc...

There are no details in the site regarding to anything (except prices)... I think that costumers would like to know what this company offers that justify the word luxury.

Hi, you are right!!!..........the Company who held this bus is in South Africa and for this reason the BUS are really luxury........and in perfect conditions.

I leave here in Zimbabwe - Bulawayo and this is the ONLY transport system which I feel to suggest to any international travelers!

Thanks Dany,

This is exactly what I was looking for. The overnight train looks like a perfect adventure to get from Vic Falls to Bulawayo and thus to Matobo.

I found fllight references on line on a Bulawayo airport arrival/depature site to Great Plains Airlines in Zim. Do they exist? Thanks for your help.

Hi again,

in this moment there is only one air fly company coming to Bulawayo. South Africa Airlines.

Zimbabwe Air lines is not operating for now.

Then you have to come to Johannesburg and from there you can come to Bulawayo.

There are Air Fly company arriving to Harare (the capital) like: Qatar Air Lines, Ethiopian Air Lines, but you can have better information from air lines searching engine.

Happy to help you at any time!

There are overnight trains Bulawayo to Victoria Falls and Bulawayo to Harare.

Both more of an adventure, and more traditional, than a nasty modern bus - and they have proper flat beds with sheets and pillows to sleep on, too. Any overnight bus without flat beds just sit-up-all-night seats is hardly 'luxury' - give me a flat bed in my own room on the rails any day!

Wow! This is all great information!

At the end of August, 2012, my daughter and I need to get to Victoria Falls from Harare, & weren't too keen on taking a plane through J'burg. Now I'm thinking we could take a bus to Bulawayo, stay there for a day to see Matobo NP, etc., then the next day take the bus to Victoria Falls. Does this sound reasonable? Would it be safe for a 21 yr old female and her mother? (We've never been to Africa before.)

Thanks!
