Is December dry season at the Falls?

I will be visiting the falls and after reading some reviews and articles, the determining factor will be whether it is dry season. Having read some articles, dry season seems to be Oct-Nov, this is when the water flow is at its lowest. I just want to check if this is true, and to ask what the water levels will be like in Dec. If water level is low, I will base myself in Zimbabwe, if water level is ok - it will be Zambia.

Cheers,

You don't say when in December, early, mid, late?

It really depends how early the rains start this year and how heavy.

If the rains are late and light then there might not be much water on the Zambian side in early December. But I would assume that by late December the falls should be getting a decent flow.

Hi nkalamo - currently in my itinerary I plan to be there 26 - 27 Dec. Will that be an OK time to be on the Zambian side?
