flying into Phan Thiet

Hi guys ..what I meant to say is check that the airport is open,when we were there in mid January it was still under construction,hence my saying you can't fly into Phan Thiet,sorry for the misleading comment!It very well be open now.Happy Travels

oh cool!!! i'm glad to hear that there's an airport opening up!! thanks for the update- seriously, this will make our VN trip more appealing. after going 3Xs (last 2X's with 2 young kids), i was begining to think that we should hold off untill they are older. flying point to point is so much easier with the little ones. was thinking that we'd go to thailand this time around but may now reconsider VN!! thanks!!

Hello Land!

Thank-you for the update,that's great news!Especially for folks that want a more quick and streamlined way there.I still loved the trains but I must admit that after zooming around Vietnam we weren't always up for it ,that is taking the train for the 3rd or 4th time back to Phan Thiet!

Watched a few shows on your country,looks beautiful!

We are hoping to go back to Vietnam and see the north and meander into the usual hot spots then back to Mui NE for kitesurfing..lol!

Hope all is well with you and again thank-you for all your input.
