Hi everyone,

I was in Hoi An a couple of years ago and absolutely adored all of it, from the people to the history and culture to the food, and of course the sheer gorgeousness of the place. I found myself wishing I could share it with someone, and lo and behold here I am a couple of years later, when I'm thinking it would make a beautiful honeymoon destination. One hitch, though: we're getting married quickly, which means there's not much time to save up for a flash honeymoon. There are so many lovely places to stay in Hoi An, but some of them are so expensive that I'm wondering whether it's possible to find a place that's both romantic and budget-conscious.

My lovely fiancé and I just want to have a quiet honeymoon, with lots of resting and good food, and some night time walks to soak up the atmosphere, some time between late Jan and mid-Feb '10.

Thoughts?

The Ha An is only abouy USD45 a night with romantic rooms which they decorate with flowers in the room and the bathrooms, lovely balcony to sit on and watch the world go by, best breakfast in Viet Nam, great service. No pool but you won't really need it at that time of the year.

No, when we were there it was quite dry, and about 26C during the day, a little cooler at night.

Hi,

We stayed at Betel Garden Homestay which has a very nice garden and it is very quiet to stay here as it is away from the main road.

Vibey,

It sounds lovely to spend honeymoon in Hoi An.

Spending your time to walk in beautiful Cua Dai beach and having a romantic dinner with variety of candles in a garden, joining a cooking class together are good ideas for your honey moon in Hoi An.

Ha An hotel, Thuy Duong 3 and Cua Dai can meet your need of accommodation. If you can afford to spend your nights in Life resort, which is perfect for your honeymoon.

I just stayed at Hoi An Beach Resort, really nice and think rooms can be had online for around $70.00.

For a far greater choice of hotels, you will find hundreds of reviews of hotels and resorts in all price ranges if you click on 'Hotels in Hoi An' at the top of the green strip on the left-hand side of this page. You should also click on the B&Bs/Inns tab on that page as a few hotels have been incorrectly classified.

Thanks, guys. I saw the reviews there, but it was a LOT to wade through when I was looking for something so specific! I really appreciate all the links though, I'll check them out. :)
