boat trip for the seasick?

Am here now and itching to go on boat trip. Not able to take anti sickness meds any longer due to prescription meds so can anyone recommend best option? Or may be take boat over to Sovalye island as alternative? Did the MIDI coach trip to Kalkan and very enjoyable so thanks for your input on that one.

Try the water taxi from Calis to Fethiye, leaves on the hour and half hour, costs 5 lira and takes 35 minutes. A very smooth trip. From Calis catch it at the Water Taxi berth at the bridge. In Fethiye catch it at the Marina at the back of the Migros store it berths at the Address Cafe.

do a short trip as stated above, then if you want to do more have a look for the biggest boat doing trips-less rocking if the sea is choppy imo

We went on the newly built (2014) Hanedan from Fethiye and was smooth sailing, that day. Beautiful boat.

I struggle with sea sickness as well but have persevered every year and am getting better. Keep your eyes on the horizon especially when leaving the harbour and crossing the open sea. Do not lie down or close your eyes as this is when you get motion sickness. Don't be embarrassed if you are sick as long as it is over the side of the boat ha ha These boat trips are a great day out and very enjoyable. Hope you manage to go on one.

Great advice from LuvCalis to help prevent seasickness! You could also wear a seaband - they are elastic bracelets with a stud that works on your acupuncture point on your wrist:

Enjoyed the water taxi on several occasions so decided to book a boat trip from Fethiye before we go home. Thanks for good advice.
