Travel to kayakoy

Hi.

Planning to visit fethiye next summer and would like to stay in quieter kayakoy. Please can anyone recommend an affordable 2 or 3 bedroom within a complex?

Thankyou

Thanks for your great advice.

I think we might have to have a change of plan :( tried all suggested options and either not suitable ( we need 2 room appt or villa as we have two children) or too expensive. Prices coming in at around £800 per week.

Must have contacted around 20 places, private villas or advertised on here. A couple sound promising but still very expensive for a week.

I think you would find villas and apartments at Calis Beach at a lot less, there is an Aqua Park there for the children. The water taxi goes to Fethiye on the hour and half hour, only costs 5 lira and is a lovely mini cruise for 35 minutes. Calis has a good Sunday Market. It's a great place to tour from and if you get a villa away from the prom at the back of Calis it can be lovely and quiet. We have a Villa about 15 minutes walk form the prom (not for rent, sorry) We have fabulous mountain views and Farmers next to us who graze their sheep and goats in the field. The Farmers give us milk, tomatoes, figs etc. My Avatar is of our garden, where we often get tortoises and even water crabs which land in the pool. One of the other D.E's F.F. thinks are place is too far and and rural for him.

He is a Fethiye townie.... wait for the comments :0)

I see this place recommended by Brian is over £800 per week. Unfortunately, July is peak period.

Here are a couple of websites to try for villas and apartments

Good luck

Thanks for all suggestions. Frances Jane, you are very kind and I do appreciate your help and advice.

Your place sounds idyllic :)

Not sure what to do my head is spinning! Had 3 changes of plans for varying reasons already. Think I might have a rest for a couple of weeks, sleep on it, digest even more information and start again. At least I have cheap flights booked :)

X
