Vegetarian options & travel to Antalya?

Is there any restaurants in Konya that have a good selection of vegetarian options as my wife is vegetarian?

Also I understand that there are several coaches that leave for Antalya. Would there be any coaches leaving after the Friday prayers or is Friday a holiday? We will be traveling with a three month old baby and just wondering if coach travel will still be ok. If we want to take a taxi to Antalya what would that cost roughly?

Any advice would be highly appreciated :)

Almost every restaurant in Turkey has vegetarian options available. In fact there's a huge choice of Turkish food that you and your wife will both enjoy.

The coaches run 7 days a week and, commerce wise, Friday isn't a holiday. It's a good idea to book your seats at least 24 hours in advance of your chosen time / day of travel as the Konya / Antalya route is very popular. The journey is quite pleasant and the coach will stop at least once for a 15 minute break at one of the many bus stations or service areas along the route.

A taxi would cost you a small fortune. You're talking of a journey of 300 kms / 200 miles and you'd probably be paying for a round trip as the likelihood of the driver getting a return fare is pretty much zero.

Thank you for your very useful and quick reply. Sounds fantastic! Glad there will be good vegi options too :)

We will probably stick to the coach in that case as taxi will be quite expensive.

Thanks again.
