There are many tour companies in Cappadocia and, I believe, Several offer some of their tours under "red", "green" etc headings. Which company are you asking about?

Itineries change from time to time, so perhaps you could copy and paste the itineries you are interested in, or at least provide a link.

The Green Tour is worth going on as the total distance covered is about 200 km and it includes only 1 'shopping-stop' - the onyx demonstration and jewellery shop. Most of the things on the Red Tour can also be seen on your own, especially if you rent a scooter, but also using public transport. It has more stops than the Green Tour and almost all of them include some time for shopping. The pottery shop and wine tasting are quite ok, but many companies also include a carpet shop, and there's also too much time at Devrent valley and Pashabag at souvenir stands.

Avonos pottery is an expensive shopping stop.

We did a tour which included the winery - complete waste of time -another expensive shopping stop. We sat in a reception froom or a short time, just tasting several of the wines on sale - no tour of the winery, nothing.

Don't suppose an onyx demonstration (shopping stop) would be any better.

If you are planning two day tours choose one which includes an underground city and includes the schedule for the rest of the day which appeals to you most. Then choose another which concentrates on the area closer to Goreme - Cavusin, pasabag, etc.

Have a look at other well recommended companies such as Rock Valley (completely different schedule to those described above), Turkish Heritage (no shopping stops), Argeus and Reliable Tour (again different tours and few shopping stops).

yes, there are many tours and you can visit everywehere. However, i want to explain pottery in Avanos. The pottery is hand made and you can find from 10 Turkish Lira pottery to 10,000 Turkish Lira pottery. Most of people love making pottery and ceramics in Avanos. Therefore, they are visiting there. If you find high price for pottery, jewellery or carpet are more higher than pottery. You can reserach Firca Ceramic in Avanos.
