Should I buy my wedding rings in Antalya Turkey

Hi, Im wondering if anyone can help me. I am going to Lara Beach near Antalya in Turkey next week and was considering looking at getting my wedding made out there as I have a design in mind. Would you recommend doing this? and if so is there any recommended places we should try? Also when bargaining a price what sort of price should I be looking at for 2 gold brick design wedding bands? Thanks for your help in advance.

It all depends on the weight of the ring. Get some idea in the UK before you go, as to how much you would pay for a ring of similar weight. Don't forget that 9ct should be cheaper than 14ct, which is the minimum carat generally sold in Turkey. It is also a good idea to ask advice from your tour rep, or guest relations at your hotel, who can sometimes recommend a local jewellers, but avoid the jewellers in the hotel as it will probably be more expensive. All bona fide jewellers in Turkey display a certificate of authenticity in the shop. They will belong to a fellowship, so to speak.

I don't like 14ct, it looks too yellow, it is often 14ct that you get in the likes of Turkey, Egypt and middle east.

I prefer 18ct as it looks and is more pure.

Actually - not really looked at rings/value but did comment on how different the gold looked!

ıf I were to buy diamonds or gold I would buy from a reputable dealer..like Altınbaş or Atasay..and there are many shops in antalya located in the large shopping malls..but that is not to say that the the other gold shops are bad..you need to shop around

you can use this website to check out prices
