I, too, just returned from Turkey and rented with Cizgi. Cizgi=hellish experience. They gave me a van with 270,000km. It sounded horrid 3km from airport, but I thought I would just call from hotel (I had no map to their office). I never made it to the hotel. The battery died. My small children and I walked the last 3km to our hotel and arrived at 11:30pm. Cizgi woke me up and had me take them to the disabled car.
They blamed me for not having enough fuel in the vehicle. Apparently, in Turkey, a lack of fuel causes electric problems. Nonetheless, they still brought a battery with them because they probably knew the score.. How neat!! The new battery they brought with them as a replacement was too small, so they took the van and left me a tiny car with no fuel. They returned the van later than promised and it also lacked a/c.
The next day, the interior dash lights went out completely. They took the van, now full of diesel, and said they would give it back in 1 hour. Thirteen hours later, after numerous calls, they brought another van with no seat belts, which idled at 4300 rpm and had almost no fuel. The hotel staff told me not to drive it as it was dangerous.
Cizgi promised to return all my money and give me money for fuel. When they showed up, they gave me part of my rental money and nothing for fuel. Cizgi is not reliable, not prompt, and does not provide good service. Turns out they did not even own the first van and "did not know its problems." I paid cash and doubt I will ever get my money back and lost a week of holiday just sitting at my hotel. DO NOT USE CIZGI! Complete bait and switch scam artists. Fraud alert!!!!
